Para i Probechu’n i Taotao-Ta, Inc.

Mission:

Supporting community organizations and members that promote the preservation of the Chamorro language and culture.

Para I Probechu’n I Taotao-Ta, Inc. (PIPIT, Inc.) was incorporated on September 1, 2011, registering its Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, receiving its incorporation certificate on September 21, 2011 from Guam Revenue and Tax. On November 12, 2011, PIPIT, Inc. received its Employee Identification Number (EIN). On January 12, 2012, PIPIT, Inc. received its local tax-exempt status 501(c)(3) from Guam Revenue and Taxation, and on June 13, 2013, PIPIT, Inc. received its federal tax-exempt status 501(c)(3) from the Internal Revenue Services.

Since the inception of PIPIT, Inc. the organization has been awarded two project grants funded by the Administration for Native Americans (ANA).

I GIMA’ SIHA

The organization currently umbrellas all recognized Guma’ (cultural houses) on Guam, CNMI, United States and Japan. These recognized Guma’ are community base organizations that encompasses at least 30+ active members and their extended family and friends that follow and support the mission of the organization. The organization also encompasses the Tribal Council (Inetnon Manfafana’guen Bailan Chamorro), recognized by the Government of Guam, who provides the leadership and guidance to the established Guma’ in the continuity of the established Chamorro Dance. The following organized Guma’ are currently members of PIPIT, Inc.
